This is a swatch of the base color I used in my last post. I really like this color, and I already had it on, so I thought, "Why not swatch it?"
Like I just mentioned, I am a big fan of the color. It's a steely blue that reminds me of rain. The dry time is great too. Actually, everything about it is great; except for one thing. Every single brush stroke and/or flaw in the paint job is made blindingly obvious. Topcoat helps a little, but not a lot. If it wasn't for that little problem, Hot Flower would definitely be a contender to be one of my top ten polishes.
Don't get me wrong, I still love this polish. It's just in my top twenty instead of my top ten.
